大統領官邸や政庁のあるヴィジャイ・チョウクから東西に延びるラージ・パット通りの東のはずれにある。 第一次世界大戦で植民地インドは英国側に協力して参戦、しかし独立は第二次大戦後を待たねばならなかった。 高さ42mのアーチには１万余りの将兵の名が刻まれている。コンノート・プレイスから南東へ約２km。(1998.04)
