    ブッシュネル(Bushnell)の潜水器「タートル（Tortoise）」（その2）

    In 1774, the American David Bushnell (1742-1826) has perfected and build this "Tortoise", the first submarine. He was also the first to use a propeller to propulse a ship. This submarine actually sailed underwater and was used against English ships during the American War of Independence.
